we will see you again

We have just returned from a fabulous Easter holiday at Camping L’Eden in Biot. This is our second time with Liz & Jeff of Sunhat France, so we were already familiar with the site. Our family consists of my wife and myself plus 4 boys ranging in age from 15 down to 5 years.

Where to start? Sunhat France have a very useful website and we found Liz & Jeff to be very helpful in arranging our stay. Their mobile homes are very clean and comfortable with nice patio areas to enjoy eating alfresco or just relax in the sun. They are always around should you require assistance with anything and are very approachable, nice people.

Camping L’Eden is a fabulous little site. From the moment you drive in the secure gates you are made to feel welcome. First impressions are of how clean and well maintained the site is. There is a nice playground for the little ones, table tennis for the not so little ones and a Boules pitch where all abilities are welcomedThe swimming pool is excellent for all ages. The site shop, restaurant and bar are run by Becky & Franck. Again, you are made to feel welcome whether you are there in the morning to buy fresh bread or last thing at night having a Pastis at the bar.The site has many regulars who spend their summer months on the Cote d’ Azur, (envious or what!), who are very friendly and make you feel part of this community.

Camping L’Eden is ideally situated in a fantastic part of the world. There is literally something for everyone. Travelling around is easy, too. There is a bus stop just outside the camp site. Here you can get a bus to nearby Antibes or up the road to Biot. For 1 euro you can have 3 hours of travel anywhere in the region. One kilometer from the site is the train station where you can get a train to take you all along the Cote D’Azur. Nice, Monaco, Menton, Cannes, Eze, Italy are all within easy reach.

For anyone who has never been to this part of the world, what can I say? I cannot rate it highly enough. It is perfect. And what better place to stay than the aptly named Camp L’Eden.

Thank you to all the fantastic people there…..we will see you again.
